Expect to try a selection of delicious food, wines and cocktails, learn about different venues, cuisines and the amazing food scene on the Gold Coast, make new friends and have plenty of fun!
Wine provided is for sampling only and is not unlimited. There is also no option to substitute wine for other alcoholic beverages however, venue’s may choose to offer guests to purchase other drinks at special prices. Alcohol will only be served to guests over 18 years of age. Gold Coast Food and Wine Tours encourages responsible drinking. Please keep in mind, if you would like to enjoy wine or other alcoholic drinks on the tour, we recommend to organise alternative transport so you won’t have to drive.
We provide a substantial number of generous tastings. If you do choose to eat before the tour, we recommend something very light so that you can still enjoy all of the amazing food.
Yes. The venues we visit and the food provided may differ from tour to tour. We love to showcase fresh, seasonal produce and keep up to date with the latest food trends and best venues on the Gold Coast. We work hard to design an experience that reflects that.
Vegetarian and Gluten free is available on all of our tours. Please let us know ahead of time so that we can inform the venues. Other options may some times be difficult. However, we will always try our hardest to accommodate your needs whenever we can.
All information and food is included in the tour cost, as well as drinks at a minimum of 3 of the venues. Although there is no pressure, you are given the opportunity to purchase additional drinks if you would like at several of the venues.
Yes! Gold Coast Food and Wines are a unique way to celebrate with friends or colleagues over food and wine. We love hosting hens parties, birthday parties, Christmas parties, staff gatherings, team building activities or any other events.

There is a public car park next to Burleigh Heads Library, corner of Connor Street and Park Road. Meter parking is available on local streets; beware of time limits.
For our Broadbeach tours, we recommend the parking at the Oasis Centre (first 3 hours free) or use the convenience of the G:Link tram (Station: Broadbeach North). There is also a taxi rank adjacent to the Sofitel hotel.
For our Surfers Paradise tours, we recommend the Bruce Bishop car park adjacent to the Transit Centre, which is our rendez-vous point (on the Beach Road side). The G:Link tram offers convenient transport through Surfers. Alight at Cavill Avenue, walk south 1 block to Beach Road and turn right. The Transit Centre is 50m further on.
For our Taste of the Gold Coast Progressive Dinner, we recommend parking at the Oasis Centre ( first 3 hours free)or use the convenience of the G:Link tram (Station: Broadbeach North). There is also a taxi rank adjacent to the Sofitel hotel.
A minimum of 10 people is needed for each Public Walking Tour and any Private Group Tours.
We can take a maximum of 20 persons on all of our tours.
Unfortunately our tours are not designed for children. Coffee, alcohol, and foods more suited to an adult palate may feature on the menus.
As the tours are walking tours, please wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sun block. Remember to bring a bottle of water to replenish yourself between venues and an umbrella if the weather calls for it. Our Gold Coast lifestyle is laid back, however smart-casual will always look appropriate in bars and restaurants.
Group bookings are available for groups of 20+ guests unless previously agreed upon. To confirm your group tour we require a non-refundable deposit at time of booking. This deposit is equal to the equivalent of three (3) full priced tickets for groups up to 20 guests. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for groups of more than 20 guests.
Full payment for group/private bookings need to be finalised at least 6 weeks prior to the tour date.
Our tours usually take 3-5 hours. We walk at a moderate pace to the different venues and our guests have frequent breaks. We ask that you ensure your footwear and clothing is appropriate.
We are aware that guests sometimes need to change their plans. If we are given 7 days notice we can reschedule your tour.
We are unable to give cash refunds. We are available on 0432 456 102 during business hours.
If WE need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances Gold Coast Food and Wine Tours will offer you the option to reschedule your tour or provide a gift voucher for use at a future date. Notification of any tour cancellation is provided by call or text to your mobile phone or email address. We aim to provide at least 24 hours notice.
